NECA National’s Government Affairs team strongly encourages Chapters to host Congressional visits to member companies and jobsites. These visits create or expand on NECA’s relationships with Members of Congress, allow NECA members to discuss NECA’s policy positions with their federal representatives, and show Members of Congress first-hand how these issues impact our industry.
Because these outcomes are so important, the Penn-Del-Jersey Chapter is committed to hosting several of these meetings each year. Before each visit, the Chapter will work closely with members to plan the day’s events and ensure that participants are up-to-date regarding NECA’s federal legislative policy positions. A member of the Chapter’s Staff will also attend each visit, help with its execution, and follow up with each participating legislator. All participating NECA members will be recognized in the Chapter’s bi-monthly newsletter and NECA National’s weekly newsletter, and on the Chapter’s social media pages.
