PDJ NECA Members Offer Assistance During Pandemic

The COVID-19 Pandemic makes it difficult to see positive things happening in the world. However, many Chapter Members are “doing well by doing good” despite the circumstances.

On March 18, 2020, Kuharchik Construction CEO Robert Bresnahan donated 1,000 face masks to the Government of Luzerne County, PA to fight the spread of COVID-19. These masks will be distributed to Luzerne County CYS and Area Agency on Aging for use by case workers, local hospitals, and medical professionals.

Additionally, on April 13, 2020, Albarell Electric, Inc. President Mike Conkey donated non-latex, non-powdered vinyl gloves to the Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehab Center in the Lehigh Valley area. These will be used by the facility’s skilled nurses to assist with resident care.

The Penn-Del-Jersey Chapter applauds both of these efforts to help others.
If you know of any other Chapter Members who are supporting their communities during the pandemic, please let us know. Positive stories and related media should be submitted to Aaron Kelley (akelley@neca-pdj.org)
