Each year more than 300 people die, and thousands more suffer disabling injuries, in ladder-related accidents. This makes National Ladder Safety Month in March an important initiative that encourages safe ladder practices while on the job and at home.
The campaign, organized by the America Ladder Institute, uses resources, training and a national dialogue to highlight several important ladder safety topics, including:
- What is Ladder Safety?
- Ladder Safety at Work: Focus on Safety Administrator
- Ladder Safety at Work: Focus on Employee
- Ladder Safety at Home
- Ladder Inspection and Disposal
Safety is a top priority at NECA Penn-Del-Jersey, and National Ladder Safety Month is an effort we can all get behind. We encourage you to review OSHA’s ladder safety guidelines and ask that you reach your Field Representative with any questions.
