The Fifth Annual National Apprenticeship Week took place November 11-17, 2019. To celebrate, the Apprentice Training for the Electrical Industry (ATEI 98) hosted an Apprenticeship Training Open House inviting all members of the community to learn more about our commitment to apprenticeships and how these unique work-based training programs make a difference in our lives and community.
Attendees had the opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art ATEI electrical training facility. The event featured remarks from the Honorable Mayor James Kenny.
ATEI 98 was recognized as having the best traditional apprentice training program in Pennsylvania in 2019. The award, presented by the Department of Labor and Industry’s Pennsylvania Apprenticeship and Training Office (ATO), recognizes exceptional apprenticeship training programs identified by training providers, local employers and workforce development boards. This award is a testament to all the hard work that is done to provide the best electrical training in the industry.
