For the second time in eight years, Vanalt Electrical Construction has been awarded the Pennsylvania Governor’s Award for Safety Excellence. This award recognizes outstanding employer-employee safety programs that set high standards for workplace safety and produce tangible results.  In 2012, Vanalt was one of seven employers to be recognized for their safety program.  This year they were only one of two employers in Pennsylvania to receive the award.

Vanalt’s primary focus is to provide electrical construction services for the transit industry.  Current and recent customers include SEPTA, the Delaware River Port Authority, AMTRAK, New Jersey Transit, PennDOT and DDOT (Washington DC).  Despite the challenges of working on active rail lines and in other hazardous environments, over the past 14 years, the company has experienced only one very minor reportable injury. Congratulations to Vanalt Electrical Construction on this great achievement!
