Philadelphia welcomed more than 230 NECA Chapter Executives and National staff members during the 93rd Annual Association Executive Institute (AEI) March 7-9. It was the largest attendance in AEI history, and the conference was buzzing with excitement as executives prepared for the NECA Convention and Trade Show taking place in the city this fall.
National and Chapter executives attended educational and networking meetings, held planning discussions for the convention, and explored all that Philadelphia has to offer. NECA Penn-Del-Jersey provided a warm welcome to visitors, which included a list of recommended attractions and restaurants for Convention attendees to help them explore the city; delicious city staples such as Federal Pretzels and TastyKakes; an opportunity to meet and hear from former Philadelphia Eagle Vince “Mr. Invincible” Papale; and a NECA National hosted reception at the Down Town Club. Attendees were also invited to tour the East Market mixed-use development project, which is supported by the NEBF.
AEI was a stepping stone in the planning process for the convention in September, and we cannot wait for what is to come. Thanks to all those involved.
