Safety Achievement Recognition Program

The Penn-Del-Jersey Chapter Recognition of Safety Achievement Program was developed in 2006 by the Chapter Marketing Task Force to recognize Member Contractors that excel in multiple areas of their safety and health programs.  The Safety Achievement Program honors Member Contractors that have significantly lower OSHA recordable injury and fatality rates than the industry standard, and incorporate company safety practices above and beyond basic compliance.

The Zero-Injury Recognition Program recognizes those Member Contractors that have worked a full calendar year without recordable incidents.

The Safety Achievement Recognition Program recognizes Member Contractors safety performance by analyzes recordable cases compared to the number of labor hours worked.

There are eight (8) Award Categories:

• • 0  to 25,000 labor hours

• • 25,001 to 50,000 labor hours

• • 50,001 to 70,000 labor hours

• • 70,001 to 150,000 labor hours

• • 150,001 to 300,000 labor hours

• • 300,001 to 750,000 labor hours

• • 750,001 to 1,000,000 labor hours

• • Over 500,001 labor hours

In order to participate in the Safety Achievement Program, a Member Contractors must submit an application no later than the designated date. The information on the application will be based on the prior year of operation. The Chapter encourages all Contractor Members to participate in this program.
